Assign a group

Applies to: Users who manage API accounts.

These steps require access to Admin → Groups. Choose a Group containing the devices the integration needs to query.

Assign the integration account​

  1. Sign in to the VendBoard PC management system.
  2. Open Admin → Groups.
  3. Find the group containing the kiosks the integration should access, then choose the Edit action for that group.
  4. In Edit Group, review Group Name and Select Kiosks to confirm the intended data scope.
  5. Under Select Users, select the API user created in Create an API user.
  6. Choose Save to store the membership.

Check the selected group​

After logging in, check groupId and switchableGroups. To select another available Group, call Switch group and use the newly returned accessToken for subsequent requests.
